A charming old PG cottage. (since rebuilt
in solid, yet unaesthetic, concrete)

Though difficult for an outsider
to assess, the African roots to the
Garifuna culture seem strong, as seen
in this "voodoo" piece I encountered in
Punta Gorda.

Once I awoke in PG,
as if from a dream,
to the sounds of strange voices,
roosters crowing, and the
beating of African drums...
