| Though concentrating on palms, in keeping with the stated goals of diversity and creation of suitable habitat, plus natural beauty, many other plants are being aggressively placed. Of particular interest are native species with maximum habitat potential. Examples of these include cecropia, passiflora, wild papaya, calabash, and piper. In addition, I have noted, though not yet identified, other plants which are eagerly sought out by hummingbirds and butterflies. Plantings of these are being intensified. For beauty, value, and habitat, another area of focus is trees. Selections are based on bloom, specialty hardwood value, and/or their emergent stature - forest giants such as tubroos, ficus, and ceiba. Please refer to the Plant List below for details.
